The equipment you will need :- Wearing a WETSUIT of any style (from shortie to long and full sleeve) is essential when attending the sessions. This is to help with buoyancy and to keep you warm whilst swimming. It does not have to be a professional or elite standard wetsuit. Most supermarkets and local outdoor clothing stores stock various styles of wetsuits at a reasonable cost. A well fitting pair of swim goggles is essential. We will supply a swim hat for all participants. It is also advisable to wear swim boots or swim socks as entry into the sea can be pebbly. These can also be purchased from retail outlets and larger supermarkets or water sports shops etc. Ear plugs are also advisable, these are readily available from Boots or online. Please talk to us before the first session and ASAP if sourcing a wetsuit is a problem for you. We are happy to provide advice, or in some cases provide a wetsuit on a loan basis.
