Teignmouth Swimathon 2025
At “Aspire to Seaswim? …..Yes you can !” we are completely reliant on external
funding to run our courses each year, so any donations enable us to continue to
provide and encourage sea swimming coaching for the over 50’s no matter their
abilities or disabilities.
We are very honoured to be nominated as one of the charities benefitting from
this year’s sea SWIMATHON in Teignmouth, organised by Pete Wilby Triathlon.
The event has been successfully run for several years raising much needed funds
for local and national charities.
The event, this year, is on the 9th of August starting at 18.30pm.
It should be an exciting party atmosphere on the beach, weather permitting,.
Entrants are invited to swim any distance from 500 meters to 5000 meters around
a 500 meter course set up to the left of Teignmouth pier.
The event is fully lifeguarded and marshalled.
A very reasonable entry fee of £25, for which ever distance you choose to swim, funds the organising of the swim and a very generous donation to each of the 3 nominated charities.
You are also strongly encouraged to seek your own sponsorship for your swim , thus giving you extra encouragement and additional aid for the charities. Sponsorship forms for ATSS are available to download from our website, here
Should you feel an initial £25 cost is too much for you, “Aspire to Seaswim” could fund your entry fee, as long as you are able to attain sponsorship for ATSS of at least £50.
